Join us to read in good company and make art! Each student will receive a copy of the Lakeshore Big Read, "The Wednesday Wars." We'll spend time reading and let our books inspire us in our artmaking. If you have other books you love, bring them and get cozy! We can't wait to read with you! This class starts at CultureWorks and then we’ll walk to Herrick District Library.

Have you been looking to get into art? Our Intro to Art course is a great place to start! This entry-level course introduces students to artmaking and the creative process. No previous experience in making art is required. Each week, students will have the opportunity to experiment with different mediums, such as collage, photography, drawing and printmaking.

Este curso para principiantes introduce a los estudiantes al proceso de creación artística y al proceso creativo. No se necesita experiencia previa haciendo arte. Cada semana, los estudiantes tendrán la oportunidad de experimentar con diferentes técnicas y materiales, como el collage, la fotografía, el dibujo y el grabado.
